Berlin’s Nightlife: Where To Go Out

Berlin’s nightlife: where to go out

Before going out in Berlin, you should know where to go, since the nightlife in the capital of Germany is very varied but bars are far from each other.

Get ready to go out in Berlin

With the wide variety of themes in Berlin’s nightlife, it’s almost impossible not to find your favourite spot. There are hundreds of options to have a drink, dance or simply enjoy a nice evening with friends every day of the week.

Some clubs or discotheques present different themes in the same week, playing hip hop today and techno tomorrow. So the first recommendation is to consult the website of the site, to find out what is the theme scheduled for that night.

In some cases, the dress code is very important, as they can request elegant clothing or some special complement.

Neighbourhoods where to go out in Berlin

Berlin’s nights are intense, starting with dinners in restaurants, followed by theatres, drinks in pubs and ending in nightclubs. Depending on the area you choose, you will find very different options. In the western districts, especially around the shopping areas, you will find the most elegant and ostentatious bars in the city.

In the centre of Berlin you will find excellent accommodation options, we recommend the Eurostars Berlin Hotel for the quality of its services and its modern structure.

Pubs, bars and clubs in Berlin

By Martin Nicholas Kunz

To immerse yourself in Berlin’s nightlife we advise you to visit the oldest and most famous bar in the city, Wilhelm Hoeck. It’s located in the Charlottenburg district and its walls still have the original wooden panelling. Here you can enjoy German beers, traditional food and be distracted by such oddities as a clown playing harmonica.

The Mitte district is the starting point for most tourists. There are several bars open to tourists between Hackesche Höfe and Oranienburger Straße.

In terms of nightclubs, there are several options, such as Big Eden which is an old-fashioned type club recommended to all tourists for its international music. The Connection Club & Shop is a gay techno club attended by both men and women.

For singles, the most recommended option is the Far Out venue, where you’ll find bright lighting and dance floors overflowing with people wanting to dance.

As a more relaxing option, we find the Sage Club, which has bars, lounges and a chill-out with more relaxing music. Among the few nightclub options where you can enjoy Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue and funk is Havanna.
